The bottomless well of New York film festivals gets a little deeper this week with the debut of the ATHENA FILM FESTIVAL at Barnard College, subtitled “A Celebration of Women and Leadership.” Highlights include the New York premiere of “The Mighty Macs,” a documentary about the Immaculata University women’s basketball team, and a screening of the Oscar contender “Winter’s Bone,” followed by a session with the director, Debra Granik.
