Created in 2017, as a joint project of The 3% Movement and the Athena Film Festival, the Athena Advertising Awards recognize creative advertising that depicts strong, bold women from all walks of life; we recognize marketing messages infused with ambition, courage, resilience, and moxie.
Submissions via FilmFreeway open June 17, 2019 and close on September 20, 2019.
WHO SHOULD ENTER?
The Athena Ad Awards competition is open to all North American brands and advertising agencies that have developed creative campaigns since January 1, 2018. Global brands are eligible if the work has been created in English.

The Awards presentation will be on Nov. 8, 2019, Day 2 of the 3% Movement Conference in Chicago before an audience of 1000 male and female creative leaders. The award presentations and the winning entries will also be showcased at the Athena Film Festival, Feb. 27- March 1, 2020, at Barnard College in New York.
Organizations must create a FilmFreeway profile in order to submit to the Athena Ad Awards. When creating the profile, please note that the only required fields are Project Name and Contact Information (as indicated by the asterisk). You may leave all other information blank. Once you create your profile, you will be able to submit your ad and upload relevant information about your campaign.
