Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering, but at this time, we are no longer in need of volunteers. Please visit the Festival and support us by attending any number of great movies that weekend.

BECOME AN ATHENA FILM FESTIVAL VOLUNTEER!
We need your help to make the Athena Film Festival a success. Volunteers are needed to assist as ushers, greeters, managers, and special events staff.
Here are some details about volunteering:
When will I need to be available?
The Festival begins on Thursday night, Feb. 9, 2012 and ends on Sunday evening, Feb. 12, 2012 You will be assigned to a 4- hour shift during the festival. There will be opportunities to work on Thursday and Friday nights, or during the day and evening on Saturday and Sunday.
How will I know what to do?
In early January, you will have a chance to sign up for a work shift. In addition, there will be volunteer training sessions the week before the festival when we will explain your job, and assign you to a team of other volunteers.
What Will I Receive?
In exchange for working a 4- hour shift, volunteers will receive:
- A volunteer pass to the complete festival that will allow you to see any of the films or panels throughout the weekend. Volunteers will be able to take any available seat after paid attendees have entered the venue.
- A free Athena Film Festival T-shirt that you should plan to wear during your shift so that festival attendees will know where they can get help.
This is a great opportunity to meet fellow film enthusiasts and network with local industry professionals.
