The health and safety of our community is paramount, so we will be requiring all participants attending the 2022 Athena Film Festival (or Festival-affiliated events) in person on campus at Barnard College to be fully vaccinated.
In compliance with Barnard’s COVID-19 policies, all 2022 Athena Film Festival in-person attendees must comply with the following guidelines:
– Attendees are required to be fully vaccinated and boosted*
*You will receive an email requesting you to upload your proof of vaccination (received your primary COVID vaccine and booster, if eligible) in advance of the festival.
– Attendees will be required to submit a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of arrival on campus.
*Upon arrival on campus, before proceeding to your venue, you will be required to submit your negative PCR test result to a member of Athena’s COVID Compliance team for verification.
– Attendees will be required to wear a mask at all times while indoors, ideally a high quality, well-fitting mask (N95, KN95, KF94).

The Athena Film Festival has put mitigating measures in place to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. However, attending in-person events could result in you contracting COVID-19. By, attending in person the 2022 Athena Film Festival or Festival-affiliated events, you voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damage known or unknown which might occur, including the risk of contracting COVID-19 and agree that to the extent permitted by law, and in consideration for attending the Festival, you will save, hold harmless, discharge and release Barnard College, its current and former trustees, officers, agents, employees and representatives from any and all liability, claims, causes of actions, damages or demands of any kind and nature whatsoever that may arise from or in connection with your attendance, whether caused by the negligence or carelessness of Barnard College, its representatives or otherwise.
