Join us as we show you a sneak peek of clips from the highly-anticipated television series, The Handmaid’s Tale. Based on the award-winning novel by Margaret Atwood, this story takes place in the dystopia of Gilead, a totalitarian society that treats women as state property. As one of the few remaining fertile women, Offred (Elisabeth Moss) is forced into sexual servitude as a Handmaid in the Commander’s household. In a terrifying and threatening society, Offred fights to survive and to find the daughter that was taken from her.

Q&A session to  follow with director Reed Morano and moderator Jen Ortiz from Marie Claire magazine.

Moderator: Jen Ortiz is a senior editor at Marie Claire where she edits the @PLAY section and covers culture. Her writing has also appeared in GQ, New York, Narrative.ly, and others. Her favorite scene in a film is any scene starring Madeline Kahn in Clue.
