The Feminist

This personal and compelling portrait follows Gudrun Schyman, spokesperson of Sweden’s Feminist Initiative political party as she moves between small towns, refugee camps, and the corridors of power. In the process, she inspires women across the globe and becomes one of Sweden’s most influential politicians.

Q&A  with producer Helene Granqvist to follow the screening and author and activist Charlotte Bunch 

Producer’s Bio: Helene Granqvist spent a decade working as a set designer for film, theatre, and national television before starting her career as a producer. In 1999, she began realizing her vision for an alternative, interactive, and internet-based TV channel. As a producer, she has cultural connections all over Scandinavia. She nurtures a devout engagement for developing talent, social innovation, sustainable development, and concepts of an alternative economy. In July 2018, Helene was named Women in Film & TV International’s (WIFTI) new president.
