Filmmaker Bio: Lara Aslanian is an award-winning director from Los Angeles, California. She has directed narrative short films, music videos, and commercials. Her work has been recognized by festivals from around the world including the Los Angeles Music Video Festival, Student World Awards, and the London Eye Music Video Festival, to name a few. Lara deeply cares about amplifying silenced voices. This passion led her to direct I’m Just Here. More recently she wrote and directed her senior thesis film titled Torn, currently in post-production. Torn garnered her the honor of being named a Hollywood Foreign Press Fellow.
