Work-in-Progress: Facing the Dragon

The film follows a female parliament member fighting to secure the rights of Afghan women and an Afghan female journalist covering the volatile presidential elections. As American troops and aid begin to withdraw from Afghanistan, the country’s fragile democracy and the recent gains women have made hang in the balance.
