
Featuring an all-star cast, Custody takes an in-depth look at the systemic problems in the NYC child welfare system. Children’s Services removes a single mother’s two children after an accident at home. Her young, inexperienced lawyer is keeping a horrible family secret, and the presiding judge is tough and compassionate, but reeling from her own personal crisis. Cast includes: Catalina Sandino Moreno, Hayden Panettiere and Viola Davis.

Filmmaker Bio:
James Lapine is a playwright, screenwriter and a director of plays, musicals and films. He has gone on to work on over a dozen Broadway shows as well as off-Broadway shows. James has received three Tony Awards, the Pulitzer Prize, Peabody Award and was nominated for an Emmy Award.
Moderator Bio:
Bilge Ebiri is a film critic for the Village Voice. He has also written for New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, Bloomberg Businessweek, and The Nashville Scene.
