The pressures of fame have superstar singer Noni on the edge, until she meets Kaz, a young cop who works to help her find the courage to develop her own voice and break free to become the artist she was meant to be. New York Times film critic Manohla Dargis has called Beyond the Lights one of the top 10 best films of 2014.

Director, Gina Prince-Bythewood, winner of a 2015 Athena Film Festival award, will join the audience following the film.
