Lorena Alvarado is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary creative. Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Lorena grew up in a city of contradictions, more fantastical and surreal than any magic realist novel. In 2009 she moved to Boston where she received a B.A in Media and Film Studies in Emerson College. In 2015 she was awarded a fellowship at Fabrica Research Center in Treviso, Italy, where she worked as a filmmaker in the Social Campaigns department.
